Industrial technology company Körber has agreed to acquire a stake in NAiSE, a German software startup specializing in vendor-agnostic fleet management [1]. Financial terms of the minority investment were not disclosed.
Founded in 2017, NAiSE builds operating software designed to coordinate mixed robot fleets across industrial operations [1]. Prior to the deal with Körber, the robotics venture had been entirely self-funded without outside venture capital [1].
NAiSE leadership noted that the corporate partnership will support international distribution while allowing the business to maintain operational autonomy [1]. "We deliberately chose a partner that respects our independence and also helps us scale internationally," said Kai Przybysz-Herz, co-founder and chief executive of NAiSE [1].
Dr Helena Garriga, an executive board member in Körber's supply chain division, represents the industrial technology group in the transaction [1].
